Cargill FORE! The Houses Golf Tournament has raised an incredible $3.2 Million in support of Canada’s 14 Ronald McDonald Houses and families with sick children across the country!
RMHC Canada is honoured to share that after 10 Years of remarkable support, the Cargill FORE! The Houses Golf Tournament has raised an incredible $3.2 Million in support of Canada’s 14 Ronald McDonald Houses and families with sick children across the country.

This year’s 10th anniversary celebration, held at the Highland Country Club in London, Ontario raised an amazing $350,782 for Ronald McDonald House families. Wow! It was a fantastic day of golf, family and fun followed by a special reception celebrating 10 wonderful years of Cargill FORE! The Houses, which is RMHC Canada’s largest donor run fundraising event.

Special thanks to the Strangway Family, whose son Carson captured the hearts of everyone at this year’s 10th anniversary event. Over the past 2 and a half years, the Strangway family, mom Melissa and son Carson have stayed at Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario while Carson was being treated for a cleft lip and palate.

Sharing our thanks from Ronald McDonald Houses across Canada this year was Margaret Anderson, Executive Director and Michael Barret, Board President of RMHC Southwestern Ontario, Jane Marco, CEO and Mary Proulx, Director of Development from RMHC Toronto, and Catherine Bridgeman, Interim Director at RMHC Hamilton.

Our heartfelt thanks to Mary Thompson and Derek Schoonbaert, event Co-Chairs Dave Olsen and Ashley Wavell, the entire organizing committee, and the many wonderful sponsors, volunteers and attendees who made the day such a success. And of course, none of this would be possible without the steadfast commitment and support of Cargill’s dedicated leadership and stakeholders, who champion Ronald McDonald Houses each and every day.

This year more than ever, as we stood in the presence of 10 years of Cargill’s giving, we truly realized what is possible when a committed, caring company steps forward to make a difference ‎ - thank you Cargill.
