One of our fellow spartans, Ava Smith was diagnosed with Aplastic anemia in 2012. Aplastic anemia is a rare and serious condition that occurs when your body stops producing enough new blood cells. Her and her family stayed at the Ronald McDonald house in Ottawa Ontario for 3 months. The Ronald McDonald House provides families of sick children with a home to stay at while their child is being treated at a nearby hospital. Our dream together is to make a difference in the lives of those who stay at the Ronald McDonald house in Ottawa Ontario, by creating a fundraiser to donate money and to raise awareness in our community.
