Since joining the RMHCNL family in 2018 I have seen so many examples of the unimaginable difference that our house has made on families with a sick child. A family never wants to need Ronald McDonald House, but the relief we see on their faces when they walk in for the first time and see the amenities we offer is one of the many reasons why I truly have the best job in the world. Seeing the difference a warm smile, a home cooked meal, and a comfortable bed can have on an individual is incredible and something that so many take for granted. Ronald McDonald House gives families a home away from home when their child is in need of The Janeway. Having this home so close to doctors and medical professionals makes the experience easier with that extra peace of mind.
