Logan’s Shoes

Hi, my name is Logan Rowsell•Baggs and I just started grade 5 at Sprucewood Academy in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Next month I will be 10 years old and this is my 10 year fundraising. Fundraising for an organization that I knew nothing about really, only it was Ronald McDonald’s house. I’ve been travelling back and forth since I was a baby to the Janeway due to my right kidney not being developed, plus I was also diagnosed with urinary track reflux . Doctors at the Janeway kept a close observation over me during my 8 years, thinking it would eventually fix itself over time, but it didn’t go as planned. This July I had a 7 hour surgery to repair this reflux which then, my family really understood what I've been supporting all these years. This house was definitely a “Home Away from Home”. Everything anyone could want or need while away was there. The staff went above and beyond. I know my family after being with me all day, definitely felt at home and for the well rest and down time needed.
