Liam and Anna's Birthday Party

When our daughter was born, she was transferred to the ICU at McMaster hospital after being in the ICU at Oakville trafalgar for 2 days without showing signs of improvement. When we arrived at McMaster, we were given the opportunity to stay at the Ronald McDonald house so we could sleep, shower, and recover during an extremely difficult time. This was the greatest gift we could possibly receive and made all the difference in the world to us, allowing us to be next door to our daughter and giving us the strength to face what was happening at the hospital. The Ronald McDonald house gave us a sense of calm, and provided space for our 2 yr old son to play and feel at home. We hope that we can help provide this space, comfort and ultimately strength for other families who are going through difficult times!
