Supporting Fundraiser Goal
I’m raising $500 for RMHC Newfoundland and Labrador.
Since I started volunteering at Ronald McDonald House Charities Newfoundland and Labrador nearly 8 years ago I have seen the impact RMHC has on the families who have had to call Ronald McDonald House their home. This year will be the sixth year I will be organizing and leading the Red Shoe Crew - Walk for Families event in St. John's and although it will not look like out past events as we move virtual the importance of this fundraiser is no different than any other year. Since the COVID-19 global pandemic has started RMHC NL has seen a significant reduction in funds due to the cancellation of in-house volunteer programs and the cancellation of other fundraising events. And even though it has seemed like COVID-19 has brought everything to a halt, RMHC NL has continued to keep families close as they deal with their own family crisis of a child's illness plus the added stress of a global pandemic! I want to thank you for considering donating to this fundraiser and I encourage you to make your steps count for families and join the Red Shoe Crew - Walk for Families (Your Walk Your Way)!
